Unlike traditional planar magnetic headphones, the Cosmo boasts an ultra-large 100mm-diameter diaphragm and Full Drive Technology (FDT). The Cosmo planar magnetic headphone utilises an array of 36 extra-large N52 neodymium strip magnets that are carefully optimised through FEA finite element analysis. This configuration generates a uniform and efficient planar magnetic field that covers the entire vibrating surface of the diaphragm to ensure accurate and consistent sound reproduction.

The R&D team employed COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS®, a computer-aided simulation software to conduct extensive electricity-force-sound analyses, optimising the acoustic structure and reducing trial-and-error experimentation to achieve superior sound quality.

Additionally, the integrated driver-cavity structure consists of a large magnetic circuit with a uniform magnetic field that completely covers the vibrating area of the extra-large FDT diaphragm. Cosmo comes bundled with a single-crystal copper stock cable featuring a 4.4mm balanced termination and a dual 3.5mm detachable design. It also comes with a balanced to single-ended 6.35mm adapter to connect with various devices. Cosmo boasts a sensitivity of 100dB/Vrms@1kHz and an impedance of 15ohms, making it easy to drive and compatible with a wide range of audio devices.
