The high-quality driver is a golden combination of the MZ4 and the MZ3SE drivers featured in the award-winning LIRIC and ELITE headphones. Each MZ6 driver is meticulously hand-assembled and tested at RINARO’s industrial facility in Ukraine for exceptional quality and precision. The geometrical shape ovoid drivers weigh only 73g to offer comfort during extended listening sessions. It delivers total harmonic distortion (THD) under 0.05%, and the upper-frequency limit of audio reproduction is 96 kHz.

Meze Audio POET incorporates a dual-driven voice coil system that optimises sound intensity distribution, particularly at frequencies above 10 kHz leading to significantly enhanced spatial imaging and precise localisation within the reproduced sound field. It is positioned in the upper section of the driver, the switchback coil is optimised for the enhanced reproduction of lower frequencies to deliver a robust bass response. The spiral coil is placed directly over the ear canal which excels at reproducing mid-to-high frequencies. This positioning enables direct transmission of sound waves into the ear minimising time delays and enhancing clarity.

The POET features a hybrid neodymium magnet array that is symmetrically placed on either side of the diaphragm to create a 0.3 Tesla Isodynamic magnetic field required for uniform activation across the diaphragm surface. The Rinaro Parus® diaphragm is biaxially oriented and semi-crystalline polymer film weighing only 0.06 g and has an expansive active area of 3507 mm². A fibreglass-reinforced polymer encapsulates the magnets to resist the 10,7 N load generated, allowing the POET to offer an extraordinary experience.
