Final D8000 DC is equipped with the proprietary AFDS (Air Film Damping System) that utilises air viscosity to control diaphragm movement. This innovation lowers the frequency response of bass reproduction, which is a key weakness of planar magnetic drivers. AFDS represents a reinvention of planar magnetic technology. This system has been further refined hole diameters, pitches and patterns of the punched metal components have been completely redesigned. Additionally, different punched metal patterns are used on the front and rear of the diaphragm. 

Houses High-Quality Components For Enhanced Audio Reproduction

Final D8000 DC equips an ultra-lightweight diaphragm crafted by etching an ultra-thin aluminium foil, eliminating the need for the traditional coil lead-wire attachment in dynamic drivers. This reduces the weight of the vibration system to approximately one-third, enabling the delicate reproduction of high frequencies that were previously unattainable. In the conventional D8000, the front magnet caused small peaks and dips in the sound profile. By removing this in the D8000 DC, the front aperture ratio has increased by about 70%, significantly improving high-frequency reproduction and enhancing detail in every sound.  

Meticulously Designed With Machined Al-Mg Alloy Housing

Final D8000 DC is crafted with a machined aluminium-magnesium alloy housing, built with extreme precision and finished with a leather coating. The AFDS requires exceptionally high precision, far beyond standard driver units. Therefore, this housing also provides high rigidity to prevent unwanted resonance and securely support the driver.   

Equips Newly Developed Open-Type Ear Pads With Washi Paper Fabric

Final D8000 DC equips custom-developed ear pads that utilise washi paper-based fabric to offer a dry-touch feel and exceptional durability. It is 1.5 times thicker, and the foam inside is highly breathable for optimal sound quality with increased acoustic space and an expanded soundstage. The advanced AFDS enables its driver to produce deep, powerful bass even with ventilated ear pads. The headband is crafted from the same durable, moisture-resistant material. These new design components have made the device weigh approximately 100g lighter.     

Disassemble Easily For Extended Durability & Comes With Two Cables

Final D8000 DC is crafted in a way that allows you to easily disassemble as it features screws for repairs and extended durability. It comes with two high-quality detachable cables and a dedicated protective case for storage and transport. The case can also be locked using the provided security key. The black cable features a 3.5mm connector, 2-poles with a locking mechanism and 4.4mm, 5-pole termination, while the black cable features a 3.5mm connector, 2-poles with a locking mechanism and XLR, 4-pole termination.

Final introduces the D8000 DC and D8000 DC Pro Edition, an upgraded version of the previous models - D8000 and D8000 Pro Edition. The D8000 DC Pro Edition keeps the same clean and detailed sound as the D8000 DC but is specially tuned to match how the ears perceive sound. When we listen to music at higher volumes, bass (low frequencies) sounds punchy and more noticeable. The Pro Edition is adjusted to make the bass sound perfect at different volumes.
